Why ShadovMentor exists

Three people. One problem. One platform.

The student

A student with the drive, the scores, and a clear sense of what they wanted — but no US clinical experience and no way to get it. Every hospital said the same thing: apply through our GME office. Every GME office said the same thing: you need a preceptor first. No way in.

A practicing physician who had trained alongside students from all backgrounds and knew exactly what they needed — not a lecture, but time in clinic, seeing real patients, learning how medicine is actually practiced. He wanted to give that. He just had no way to find the right student.

ShadovMentor charges a flat platform fee per rotation week. Pricing is unified for all students — US and international. Physicians are paid directly through the platform after each rotation is confirmed complete.
